Core Policies & House Rules

Structure is the foundation of recovery. Review our comprehensive guidelines and expectations below.

Built on Accountability

A sober living home promotes lasting recovery through structure and community accountability. To protect the safety, peace, and sanctity of our homes for all residents, Springtime Living enforces strict guidelines. Adherence to these policies is a mandatory condition of residency.

1. Absolute Zero-Tolerance

No drugs, alcohol, or unprescribed medications are permitted on or around the premises. Refusal to submit to random urinalysis or a positive test leads to immediate discharge.

2. Curfew & Schedule

Curfew is strictly enforced at 11:00 PM Sunday–Thursday, and 12:00 AM Friday–Saturday. All residents must be awake, beds made, and out of the house or engaged in recovery/work by 9:00 AM each weekday.

3. Mandatory Recovery

Residents must actively attend an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) or participate in documented 12-step/recovery meetings regularly to maintain residency.

4. Productivity Focus

Within the first two weeks of residency, individuals must secure daytime employment, enroll in school full-time, or actively volunteer. Idle time is strongly discouraged.

5. Medication Protocol

We do not accommodate Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) such as Suboxone or Methadone. All approved prescription medications must be secured and taken exactly as prescribed.

6. Chores & Cleanliness

Living in a community requires respect. Residents are assigned weekly chores. Personal spaces must be clean, dishes washed immediately, and food strictly kept out of bedrooms at all times.

Additional Resident Guidelines

Conduct & Respect

Residents must maintain a peaceful and supportive environment. Any acts of violence, physical or verbal threats, theft, or severe disruption to the household or surrounding neighborhood are grounds for immediate dismissal.

Vehicles & Parking

Residents with vehicles must maintain valid registration and insurance. Vehicles must be parked in designated off-street spots to comply with our Good Neighbor Policy. Working on or repairing vehicles in the driveway is prohibited.

Drug Testing (UA)

Random urinalysis (UA) and breathalyzer testing are conducted weekly and upon suspicion. Refusal to submit to a test is considered a positive result and will lead to immediate discharge from the program to protect the community.

Passes & Visitors

Unapproved visitors are not permitted inside the home to protect the privacy and safety of all men living there. Overnight passes to visit family may be requested only after an initial 30-day probationary period of demonstrated stability and program compliance.
