Home / Connecticut Sober Living / Fairfield County & Southwestern CT
Bridgeport, Stamford, Norwalk, Danbury & Fairfield County - about an hour from either of our homes.
Bridgeport, Stamford, Norwalk, Danbury, Greenwich – men from all across Fairfield County travel to Springtime Living, and it’s often by design, not just convenience. Distance from your home environment during early recovery isn’t a drawback; many treatment professionals see it as an advantage.
Both our Hartford and New London homes are roughly an hour from most of Fairfield County. We place residents based on current availability rather than which is a few minutes closer. (If you’re closer to the Litchfield Hills and Northwest Connecticut instead, we serve that area the same way.)
The Hartford House (122 Tremont St, on Hartford's historic west side, a block from West Hartford) and The New London House (495 Montauk Ave) — we'll help you figure out which has availability that fits your timeline.
Single and double bedroom options at either home - never bunk beds, max two residents per room.
High-speed Wi-Fi, HD TV, heat, A/C, and on-site laundry at both homes.
Outdoor space for conversation and downtime at both properties - built for comfort, not overcrowding.
Fewer familiar triggers, fewer old routines to fall back into, and a real fresh start.
Physical distance from the people, places, and habits tied to active use.
Space to focus fully on recovery without old routines pulling you back.
About an hour from Fairfield County - manageable for family visits.
Fairfield County has strong treatment options of its own, but many men and their care teams choose real distance for what comes after treatment. An hour from Fairfield County is close enough for family visits, yet far enough to separate from the people, places, and routines tied to active use. It's a deliberate choice many discharge planners recommend, paired with the same CTARR-certified structure and comfort every Springtime Living resident gets.
Springtime Living is a sober living home, not a treatment facility. Our structure exists to reinforce the outpatient work you're already doing, not replace it.
Random UA testing and active 12-step participation.
Residents must be actively engaged in outpatient treatment.

Unlike many recovery residences, Springtime Living is backed by a highly qualified founding team.
As a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Co-Founder, Dr. Lizcano ensures our environment is holistic and trauma-informed, understanding the unique behavioral health challenges of early recovery.
Co-Founder Kevin Williams merges his business acumen with a deeply personal mission, honoring the friends he lost to the opiate crisis by helping men find a path forward.
With over 40 years of high-level professional experience, Co-Founder Tom Williams ensures The Hartford House operates on a rock-solid foundation of integrity, safety, and compliance.
